STUDY WITH VICTORIA LEE

Ms. Lee has taught in private, group, classroom, and masterclass settings for over twenty years.  

Ms. Lee  serves on the faculty of the music departments at California State University of Los Angeles, Cerritos College, Orange Coast College, Fullerton College, and Irvine Valley College.  She regularly appears as a clinician for SCSBOA on beginning oboe for band directors, and also coaches at many local middle and high schools.  Ms. Lee held the Oboe Instructor position in the Frederick Fennell Wind Studies program at the Orange County School of the Arts for ten years, conducting a twice-weekly masterclass and directing woodwind chamber ensembles.   A representative of Bocal Majority Double Reed Camps, Ms. Lee is a faculty member at the Southern and Northern California locations, and has promoted the camps at Fresno State's Double Reed Day and CASMEC.

Victoria maintains a private studio in and around Orange County, and is an accomplished solo and ensemble clinician.

TEACHING STYLE

Ms. Lee is an adaptable instructor who is sensitive to the needs of her students.  A firm and supportive mentor, she encourages her students to always strive for their best and to take pride in all of their performances.  

THE MULTI-FACETED STUDENT

Lessons are available in oboe and English horn performance, oboe reed-making, and audition preparation.  

A PATH TO SUCCESS

Students of Ms. Lee consistently win auditions for honor groups and festivals, and often place in high-ranking positions.  Her advanced students can be heard in performances all over Orange County!

LOCALE

In-person lessons are available at OC Musica in Garden Grove and the OrchePia School of Music in Irvine.  Online lessons conducted via Zoom also remain available.
