PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
STUDY WITH VICTORIA LEEMs. Lee has taught in the private, group, classroom, and masterclass setting for over ten years. Her first mentoring experiences began as a student at the Orange County School of the Arts, giving private lessons and coaching less experienced players. Ms. Lee's positions as a mentor continued into her college years: serving as principal oboe and woodwind mentor in the New York Youth Symphony, and returning to OCSA to participate in alumni concerts. During her graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music, Ms. Lee was appointed the MSM Distance Learning Center oboe instructor, providing live digital group lessons to students in Nebraska. Ms Lee was also appointed oboe instructor for MSM Sundays, a program that provides private lessons to amateur adult musicians in New York by graduate students.
Ms. Lee holds the Double Reeds Instructor position in the Frederick Fennell Wind Studies program at the Orange County School of the Arts, conducting a weekly masterclass and leading a small double reed ensemble. She serves on the faculty of the music departments at Orange Coast College, Fullerton College, and Irvine Valley College. In early 2017, she gave a seminar for SCSBOA on beginning oboe for band directors and will be reappearing at the 2019 conference. She also coaches at many local middle and high schools. A representative of Bocal Majority Double Reed Camps, Ms. Lee is a faculty member at the Southern and Northern California locations, and has promoted the camps at Fresno State's Double Reed Day and CASMEC.
